DHC-E 12 models are ideal for residential or commercial point-of-use sink applications including: bathrooms, offices, stores, malls, warehouses, restaurants, and gas stations. They may also work for single low-flow shower use under some conditions, and can be easily removed for over-wintering a seasonal cabin or cottage. They are electronically controlled and can be set to deliver water at the temperature you need. They heat water instantaneously and endlessly at 99% efficiency as it flows through the unit. Because they do not store hot water like tank water heaters, they have no stand-by energy losses. Venting is not necessary and the compact European design can be installed with the unit visible. A DHC-E is considerably smaller than a tank, saving space and allowing flexibility to determine the best location for installation. The number of sinks a DHC-E can supply depends on the temperature of the incoming cold water, the water rate through the unit, and the supply voltage.
