Ordered this backflow pressure reducer combo to replace one that was 15 years old and leaking. This was the exact same one that was in the house. Installed new backflow and this one leaked worse then the old one that was in there. Removed this one and replaced it with a Honeywell FM911. Just pass on this and order the Honeywell and save time and Headache for you and your Customer.

Geothermal Ground Loop
Needed something to keep proper loop pressure after developing a slow leak. It took a few tweaks over a couple of days after install to get loop pressure settled out but has been consistent since.
Both this design and its competitors don't have any other mounting tabs/points other than the 1/2" threaded port which can make supporting the unit a bit tricky.

Good for the price.
This valve will give you about 6 year of service. Over the years it get corroded. Brass or copper will give you about 20 years of service.

Q: What thread type / size is the inlet? I used 1/2" NPT on two of these units and both drip steady. I had to use alot of teflon tape to get them to only leak that much. Is it a non tapered thread?
