A must have with the heater

I highly recommend getting the valve kit and the vent kit. They simplified and perfected the installation. The vent can be easily cut down to suit the space. You need only one 4" hole through the wall and to buy 3" PVC pipe and fittings. Get a variety locally and return what you don't need.

Great product, follow the instructions.

Great product. It's an all inclusive kit. Make sure you follow the instructions and properly PVC cement all of the joints and drill the small hole to bolt the outside cap on. If you don't, it will wiggle loose over time.... Ask me how I know. I love supply house, can't say enough good things about the folks there.

Worked great with Rheem RTGH-84DVLN

Cut out a slightly larger hole in the flashing to fit this vent. Piece of cake.

Endless Hot Water!

PEX Supply delivered the tankless beauty nicely strapped on a pallet to my door step within 3 days of order placement. The product shipped from NY and was delivered in TN. The product works as specified. I had the water heater professionally installed. After installing the Takagi H2 I no longer get any complaints about (lack of) hot water from the household. It runs 3 showers perfectly! Should the need arise in the future I will be a repeat PEX supply and Takagi customer.

Easy Installation!

I called Takagi and they answered all my questions about this product. It came not glued which was great because I needed to shorten its length to fit my installation. The customer service is excellent!

This vent kit is appropriate for the current T-H3 models.

Q: If this Concentric Kit is 3", why can you use it for the T-H2-DV water heater since the installation directions call for a 4" intake & a 4" exhaust???? Also is the kit 3" ID or OD pipe????

This kit works with 3" nominal PVC pipe. You can use 3" exhaust venting with The T-H2-DV as long as the venting run is shorter than 25 feet.

Q: I can see that this is the appropriate concentric vent for the t-h2. I would like to know weather I need to buy the PVC adaptor (or two of them) to complete the exhaust and combustion air vents.

You will need a 3" to 4" PVC adapter.

You do not need a backflow preventer, but installing a condensate drain would be a good idea.
