The tekmarNet® 2 Wiring Center 314 is designed to provide a zoning solution for heating systems. It can be used in applications ranging from baseboard zones, to radiant heating zones. This product provides power for up to four tekmarNet® 2 thermostats and up to four 115 V (ac) zones pump outputs, as well as providing an end switch closure to enable an external device such as a boiler. An outdoor sensor input is included and provides the outdoor air temperature reading on each thermostat when an optional outdoor sensor is installed.

Perfect for existing 2-wire line thermostat installations
I had an old installation with 2-wire line voltage thermostats. Relays and wires were all over the place. The boiler controller was a Tekmar 360 so I looked into this wiring center. The 314 interfaced perfectly to the 360 boiler controller and the Tekmar tN2 thermostats using the existing 2 wires from the old line thermostats. No pulling new wires through the walls which was a big plus.
The 314 is a great interface and only after installation did I find that all the thermostats now communicate with each other. I changed the date and time on one and the other two were updated automatically. Demand from any of the thermostats sent the demand signal to the 360 boiler controller and the corresponding zone circulator pump.
Wiring to each zone circulator pump was just as expected.
Using the 314 wiring center with the 360 boiler controller and tN2 thermostats turned an old problematic system into a system that is now running flawlessly for the first time in years.

Start with Tekmar controls. You'll probably wind up there so start there first.

Better than before
Did a "fork lift" upgrade and replaced ALL the controls & Tstats to Tekmar TN2. Had tried to integrate some TN4 336 controls into new Tekmar 406 control without success. The 314 was plug and play. I've found that Tekmar makes a sophisticated product but you can't update (eprom) equipement so R&R is what you need to do (remove & replace).
