Official personality part - works!
I wasn't sure how this would go, but gave serial number and model number of unit and it works fantastic. I actually have an American Standard AC, so should work for that or Trane. Mine got fried when the board short circuited. Absolutely incredible to be able to find this custom part, would've cost a ridiculous amount from my local dealer. This is the 4-pin "personality module" that is zip tied to the unit. Rare that it fails but when it does you need a new one from Trane as they're programmed for each unit.
