They knew this motor would fit our ancient Trane heat pump . It was cold and the Repairman said it would take days to get a $500 plus installation replacement motor for our seized up one.However they did not recommend fixing such an old Trane. (18 years). They would email me the costs of their new installs (11k -19K) which would take over a week to receive and then the installation time. People it is cold! And look at how much money we saved. BUT MY fix it yourself daughter got on the phone and hunted down this motor after talking to a very well versed employee.Imagine that!! A real live person who knew her stuff...from stock to fitting and shipping. Promised it woud be here in 2 days.. WELL it was less than that.! Our daughter came ( 2 hour trip ). After confirming the this motor fit my system, I ordered it and the suggested starter capacitor as well. Ordered on Friday and was on my door step the following Tuesday. It was an exact fit and installation was easy. It has added some life to my 20 year old system. I will use Supply House for all my future needs.

Fan motor fit perfect and has run great for a couple of weeks now. Just wish it would come with a wiring diagram or at least mark which wires are common, etc. since the wires seem to never be color coded the same as the old motor. Overall very happy with the purchase.

This was a great purchase! Perfect replacement of original GE blower motor for a Trane TWE048C140 series air handler. Wiring set up was basically the same as the original motor. Original fan mount easily fit well on the replacement motor. SupplyHouse had best price, double boxed the motor and shipped quickly across the country. New motor required 10 micro-farad capacitor vice 12.5 micro-farad capacitor for old motor. Highly recommended.

Furnace blower motor was making noise, my local HVAC supplier won't sell electrical parts to anyone except HVAC licensed businesses. I have been through this before with other parts for the system. I am very thankful I found Supply House as their parts are not aftermarket (so far) and as I was sent the wrong part at first (not their fault but was a third-party supplier). They next day aired the correct motor at no charge. I am sure I will be using them in the future.

the dimension is off a little. It is slightly longer, and the hub where the bracket holds the motor is smaller than the original GE unit. I had to add extra rubber padding.
