The Prestige boiler features a uniquely designed stainless steel heat exchanger and offers 95% efficiency. The Prestige has the capability to modulate the firing rate to 25% of its rated input and is available in 5 sizes; a 60, 110 Stand Alone, 175, 250 and 399. This modulation means fewer cycles resulting in lower operating costs. A smart and equally convenient User Interface Module displays system status and fully adjustable parameter values as well as diagnostic codes for easy troubleshooting and optimum system performance.
Combined with a Smart Series Indirect Fired Water, Prestige provides cost-effective, reliable heat and an abundant supply of domestic hot water. The Prestige can be direct out of a sidewall with PVC pipe. The Prestige requires minimal installation space, operates quietly and features an attractive jacket with a digital control panel. The boiler is equipped with a stainless steel premix burner.
Triangle Tube Boiler Installation & Warranty Information:
We recommend that the installation of all Triangle Tube Boilers be done by a licensed, trained and qualified technician with the proper knowledge and background.
Should you experience an issue during the installation or the initial startup of the unit, please do not contact the manufacturer. You should have the technician that installed the unit contact either us or the manufacturer. Triangle Tube cannot accept any service or warranty calls from anybody but a licensed technician.
Neither we or Triangle Tube can be held liable for improper installation and operation of any Triangle Tube boiler product purchased from our company. Should a warranty issue arise where parts will need to be replaced, an installation receipt will be required along with your sales receipt. Failure to provide a receipt or invoice may result in the warranty not being honored.

Q: If the BTU input for this unit is 170,000, and it operates at 95% efficiency, why is the output rated at only 134,000 BTUs? That is approximately 79% of the input. All of the Triangle Tube boilers seem to have similar ratings. Why?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffBoiler efficiency ratings are a lot like gas mileage ratings for cars: you won't achieve the maximum ratings unless you're using the device a certain way. The 134,000 BTU output rating that we list is the IBR rating. IBR ratings assume that the boiler is located in an unheated space and that any heat given off by the boiler jacket and surrounding piping does not contribute to the heating load and is essentially wasted. DOE ratings (this boiler's is 154,000) assume that this same heat does help warm the living space. They will always be higher. Using the DOE rating for this boiler still does not get you to 95%. This is because maximum efficiency ratings do not use the maximum BTU input (170,000 in this case).
Q: Does this unit produce steam heat? We have steam radiators and are looking for a gas boiler system that can replace our old Galaxy Slant Fin oil furnace.

NO, this is only for a closed pressurized hot water system.
