These are junk! Bought 3 & all of them were dead out of box.
Very disappointed. I just bought 3 of these thermometers for my company and every single one of them was dead out of the box. I have been using these UEI thermometers for 9 years and had good luck but clearly they changed something with them. Save your money and buy something else.

Q: I have the NSF. Uei thermometer. Can I use it to test temp of a roast? Can it stay in the roast in a 400 degree oven while it is cooking?
