PEX-a Pipe Support is a non-combustible, self-gripping, galvanized-steel channel for crosslinked polyethylene (PEX-a) pipe. It provides continuous, uninterrupted support of PEX-a pipe, allowing hanger placement similar to that of metallic pipe. Use PEX-a Pipe Support in conjunction with un-insulated Uponor AquaPEX or Wirsbo hePEX PEX-a pipe in ASTM E84 plenum applications. The PEX-a pipe with pipe support can be insulated with typical CTS (copper tube size) pipe insulation. PEX-a Pipe Support is offered in 9-foot lengths.

1" Pex pipe support
This product is a great way to support Pex piping if you can't fasten it any other way. This product is very easy to use, just pop it on to the bottom of the pipe, you can use tie wraps to hold it there, you can also use hangers at this point due to the bottom of the pipe is now ridged. You can still use pipe insulation as the support is thin and doesn't interfere with the installation of the insulation.
