Description

This Locking Ring prevents the front door on a Venstar Platinum thermostats from being opened by unauthorized users. Override, Up/Down buttons are accessible on commercial thermostats while using locking cover.
Various security levels allow you to configure set point limits or render the buttons inoperable with the lock ring installed.
Supplied with 2 locking cover keys and designed for easy slip on/off installation. Requires no tools to be installed and the thermostat does not need to be removed or any wiring disconnected to install.

Great product, great price!
The thermostat guard fit exactly as described and we are very pleased! We are a church with a school so we were having challenges with individuals breaking into the combination lock boxes so we needed to upgrade to something that could not be broken into. These work perfectly and we no longer have problems with the thermostats being adjusted from the programming.

Venstar Thermostat Locking Cover

The best solution to keep T-stats secure and Locked Out
I put these on all the common area T-Stats and now we can maintain a consistent area temperature and no one can change it.

The locking thermostat cover fits well uses a standard key so one doesn't need a different key for each cover. It is interesting that the thermstat does not allow it to be programatically locked so this cover would not be needed. Hmmmmm.....supplier must make the cover?
