The Red / Green LED indicator is terrific!
I LOVE the red/green LED indicator on the Venstar thermostat, it is a unique feature that I simply cannot live without. (The LED indicator allows me to know what the thermostat is doing laying in bed with just one eye open. ) This is a perfect thermostat for a bedroom. The LED indicator allows me to know what the thermostat is doing laying in bed with just one eye open. I also like having these thermostats in other parts of my house as well. Once you have a thermostat with an LED indicator you'll NEVER go without one again.

Not same as Totaline
Replaced old Totaline trying to get new Totaline P474-2150. Totaline held date and time if lost power. Venstar T1050 does NOT hold date and time. Venstar did not make apples to apples. NOT THE SAME.

I positively love the RED/GREEN LED indicator.
I positively love the RED/GREEN LED indicator. With this indicator you can easily see what the thermostat is doing from across the room. The thermostat is completely silent and super easy to program. (Although, you can use it with no programming at all.) I have two stage air conditioners that it controls perfectly.

Great thermostat, I love the red / green indicator light.
Great thermostat, it is precise, silent, and I LOVE the red / green indicator light. With the red / green indicator light you can see what the thermostat is doing from a distance. Excellent for any room in the house, but it's also terrific in the bedroom too. With most of the thermostats, you have to walk right up to it and see if it is calling for heating or cooling. Or you can use your iPhone. Shocking, that other thermostats don't have this wonderful feature.

Q: Hi, we have a Totaline P474-1050. The buttons on the control panel are getting bad. Will I be able to use the Venstar T1050 front plate as a replacement without having to rewire anything. Thanks, Dave Barnes
