All the Manabloc parts you need!!!

Most plumbing supply houses when you tell them you're working on poly butylene pipe and a Manabloc system, they tell you to re pipe the house. Why re design the wheel? I called Supply House, they helped me get the right Manabloc manifold, and all on the fittings I needed to do the job once, and do it right. Now I have a happy customer, and a Manabloc system that doesn't leak.

Need special service wrench

Because these nuts are so close together on a Manabloc, it is difficult to use a normal wrench to tighten them. A crescent wrench is hard to use here. The nuts tend to unwind themselves if not tightened well. A special wrench is $14. Just to tighten a couple of nuts. I managed using a pipe wrench. No leak.

great product

I used this to connect 1/2 inch blue Pex tubing to the cold side of the water manifold. I used the compression ring that goes with this and the metal insert for the tubing. Tightened it up, no leaks, fantastic invention.

Lock-in inserts for 1/2" MANABLOC compression fittings are part 36403. In addition to this part and the lock-in nut you already purchased, 1/2" compression fitting assemblies also require parts 53020 and 56120.

There are no 3/4" port adapters available for the manabloc.

Q: If this fitting is to adapt to 1/2" pex tubing, isn't the thread size actually 3/4" NPT?

This piece is used to connect 1/2" PEX to MANABLOC outlet ports using the compression fitting method. Parts 36403, 53020, and 56120 are also required.

Most fittings , threads etc. referenced to the size of the PEX tube you use. Hence I am not totally sure the fitting that goes outside of the PEX tube is ¾ inch. Normally, the inner dia. conforms to the outside diameter of the 1/2inch peX tube.
