Great efficiency and great engineerin
I installed the previous model W1B1 with the CombiPlus, basically the same arrangement with DHW before Viessmann mad it one unit. I use Tekmar multi-zone controls for multiple radiator and radiant heat zones. Modulating the Vitodens boiler through a 0-10 V interface. Works great. Love the boiler. I wish Viessmann would make a 150 k BTU version, I could use the extra energy on single digit days..

So far so good
I have had the B1KA combi boiler for about a year now. I am very impressed so far with the performance. It took a little bit to figure out the heat curve, but once that was set it has worked great. I like that my DWH and space heating are all in one compact unit. The unit uses the outdoor temperature sensor to decide the amount of heat it needs to put into your system to keep the temperature at your setpoint depending on outside conditions. This increases efficiency. This is so much better than my old Munchkin boiler.
