High-Neck Vent Plunger with Stick

I found out from my local hardware store and local plumbing supply that they couldn't source a 4 inch vent plunger. My old one was rotting. Thankfully I found Supply house and got three. I will have some challenges. As others will claim, the threaded stick is short. Further I was not able to find a long handled stick with similar threads. My solution was to use a long stick with a tapered end.I screwed a bolt and washer to attach the cup to the pole from inside the cup. I epoxied the plunger to the pole and I used a band clamp all in lieu of not having threads. Of course I will use the plubger with due caution since if it comes off, that would be a major headache. That said, I now have a tool which I use on an annual basis to break up caked soap on my cleanout vent-street side. Recommended.

This is supposed to be a vent plunger, the handle with two small, very extremely hard to find another handle that is long enough to go down the vent so I wasted money on this product
