RK A2 to 2M2 Convert

Had a crappy A2C valve and wanted to swap it to the manual 2TM2 valve but the pipe doesn't fit the 2TM2 valve (even though both are Watts valves). Thank goodness this was available and adapts the pipe to the 2TM2 valve, saving us from having to open the wall and recut pipe

I was frustrated with watts intelliflow shut off valve for the washer as I had gone through three in ten years. Loved it when it worked but decided not to replace it. I called watts and they told me what I needed to replace it. Watts uses a special threading and these retrofit conversion valves fit inside a watts one lever hot/cold washing machine shut off valve. You take the valves that come with the single lever shut off valve out and put the conversion valves in. When the product came with no directions I took everything to a local building supply company and they helped me. One thing was that the screws on the new valve didn't fit the new parts so we found different screws that worked. Make sure you use the O rings supplied with the new shut off valve on the new screws. When I got back home I put everything together and screwed the new conversion valve on the water supply and it worked perfectly. Look if a plumbing novice like myself can do this project anyone can.
