Description
–
Series LFN55B-M1 Water Pressure Reducing Valves are designed to reduce
incoming water pressure to a sensible level to protect plumbing system
components and reduce water consumption. The LFN55B features Lead
Free* construction to comply with Lead Free* installation requirements. This
series is suitable for water supply pressures up to 400psi (27.6 bar) and may
be adjusted from 25 to 75psi (172 - 517 kPa). The standard setting is 50psi
(345 kPa). All parts are quickly and easily serviceable without removing the
valve from the line. The standard bypass feature permits the flow of water
back through the valve into the main when pressures, due to thermal expansion
on the outlet side of the valve, exceed the pressure in the main supply.

1" LFN55B Water Pressure Reducing Valve
I purchased to replace an 18 year old N35B; exchanged right out and used the same union connector's from the N35B.
LFN55B purchased only comes with one union connector but if you would need another union connector, Supplyhouse has them.

perfect replacement part
this was a direct replacement for my older N35B 1" valve. Had a water hammer issue on my 18 year old Watts. Easy self install and fixed the problem.

Direct replacement for lfx65
Lfx 65 is no longer made and this is a direct replacement. It fits and works. The whistling from the old unit id now gone!!

It should come with another fitting not he opposite end, would make life easier when installing and removing.that is why I rated it 4 stars

It's works, no leaks, no problems
The valve works fine. Drops my house inlet pressure from 95 PSI to 55 PSI. I had to do some re-plumbing to make it fit as it was a bit longer then the existing Cash Acme valve that failed after only a few years. I expect this one to last longer. If I purchased another one, I would go with the double union version, as I ended up installing a second union to make the next replacement easier. Be careful not to damage the o-ring.
