Description
–
This pressure relief valve has a 1 inch NPTF female inlet, 1-1/4 inch NPTF female outlet, and pressure relief setpoint of 30 psi. The valve can be used for hot water space heating boiler applications to protect against excessive pressure. It features an iron body, non-metallic disc-to-metal seating, and test lever. Includes a nonrestrictive discharge drain line flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. Sensor activation requires purchase of an activation kit which can be connected to existing building management systems or the Watts Cellular Gateway.

Replaced a leaky valve. This one works good.
The original pressure relief valve for my boiler was mounted on its side (contrary to instructions) and eventually developed a slow leak. I have had no problems with this valve since I mounted it (correctly). It looks like a heavy-duty product and is about 10% cheaper than the price for similar valves elsewhere.
