This self-priming portable utility pump is designed to be used as
a transfer pump for such applications as emptying water heaters,
livestock tanks, etc. Pump can also be used for an intermittent
pressure boost for applications such as washing cars, cleaning
driveways, etc. The motor is air cooled; it is
not designed to operate under water.
NOTE: This pump is not intended for permanent installation or long, extended periods of continuous operation.

I would buy this pump again.
I was filling a radiant floor heating system the pump worked great just as expected. The only thing that would be nice if it had a switch to turn pump on and off.

Great water transfer pump.
I use to pump water from river about 150ft up hill. Works great. I fill about 1000 gallons 2 times a month tanks to water here in texas.

Pump works as expected
Bought this pump to refill and purge air from my boiler and baseboard heating system as my sump pump as not powerful enough. Works fine. As I was using anti-freeze here in northern Vermont, I used a 15 gallon bin I had on hand to fill and recirculate the fluid till no bubbles came out. Had to buy a third 6' washer hose to use this type of pump. Will later use the pump to drain my hot water tank when we close the house for the winter.

Negative.
Used to transfer water into my RV. Had the same one previous to this new one and found it hard to repair. Ordered this new one and it took longer to receive than I was expecting so had a week without water. Received this new one and pumped approx 15 gal into my RV and the pump failed. On the weekend so couldn't do anything about it. Returned Monday (UPS) and asked for refund. Couldn't wait another 3 weeks and bought a smaller one to cover me for the summer. Things happen but still disappointed in the outcome

PC4 Pump Worked Great
The PC4 transfer pump worked great for filling and purging air from a radiant floor heating system. Hopefully it will be long lasting as now it will only be used once a year for maintenance.
