Float Replacement Kit for Submersible Pump

Part arrived broken and I had already thrown out the box before I noticed that the metal rod that was supposed to support the float had nothing to grip onto and so the float would just slip off. It;s like the float had too big of a hole at the bottom to hold the float. Since I already tossed out the packaging, and also figuring that since I paid for rapid shipping and wouldn't probably get that cost back, as well as thinking there might be a restocking fee in the end, I just assumed it wouldn't be worth it to send it back just to get half my money back. So I still have it of course in the same condition it arrived but I wasn't able to use it and instead bought another sump pump since I couldn't use my Rigid pump as an automatic pump without the missing float. Happy to return it if you'd accept it for a decent refund though. Thanks!

The product worked as intended. Only improvement could have been using a stainless rod for the float instead of rust prone steel that caused the failed in the first place. Very expensive considering my old float could have been used and couldn't buy just the rod.
