Q: My CGS boiler is making a loud whistling (like a train whistle) noise. Thought it was the inducer, but nope- didn't solve the problem. Anyone ever replace (or re-caulk) the collector hood transition assembly (sheetmetal thing the inducer mounts on) to successfully eliminate this problem?

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse StaffThis is not something we are as familiar with, and would recommend contacting local installers to see if they have heard of such a solution to that issue. We would suggest checking the air vents if there is such a noise as it may be coming from that.
