Worked like a charm
I bought this to replace the original vent damper that was installed with my steam boiler. I started to notice that the boiler wasn't firing at times when the thermostat was calling for heat. I put the vent damper in manual mode to keep the damper open at all times. This worked for awhile but eventually became undependable. Service tech told me it would cost approximately $600.00 for the labor and parts to replace it. I decided to do it myself. Very easy install in about 10 minutes.
