Very good thermostat

Our church bought two of these thermostats to replace outdated ones. They installed easily and their 7 day, 4 times option were exactly what we were looking for. They have been functioning perfectly we hope to realize a savings on our energy bills

Terrific T-Stat

This T-Stat is excellent. It installs in less than 10 minutes & is easy to program. It hold precise temp & it has the filter reminder which many other T-Stats do not. It also has a 5 year warranty-regardless of whether a do-it-yourselfer or a professional installs it. With many of the Honeywell T-Stats one only gets the 5 year warranty if it is professionally installed-that is why they call it a PRO t-stat or a PRO-install. But all in all this T-Stat works great. Another great product from one of the leaders in the T-Stat industry-WHITE-RODGERS.

I would buy product again.Love results.

I've used this thermostat in both one and two level houses. It works efficiently and I have noticed a significant energy savings. It is a cost effective product considering the results obtained. I highly recommend it.

Q: Does this thermostat have a filter indicator?

Yes, this thermostat has a filter indicator "FLTR" which will display as a reminder to check the filter after the unit has run for the programmed amount of time. This time can be set from 0 to 1950 hours in increments of 50 hours.

Q: I cannot understand why the little green light is on and it says "SAVE" in the top left corner. This happened last summer also, but only briefly. While this is displayed it will not adjust to the temperature I set it to. I'm about to have a heat stroke, someone please help.

First, make sure that you change the batteries and ensure that all of the wires are connected properly. If a voltage spike or static discharge causes erratic thermostat operation you can reset the thermostat by pressing the up and down buttons and the TIME button at the same time. This also resets the factory defaults to the configuration menu and program. If the thermostat has power, has been reset and still does not function correctly contact your heating/cooling service person.

Without knowing the specifics of your fireplace, we see no reason why this thermostat wouldn't work.

Q: Is 1F87-361 compatible with 1E78-144? I want to replace 1E78-144 with programmable T.

They are both low voltage and can control the same types of systems. You may need to modify the wiring slightly.

The manufacturer recommends that you gently pull the cover straight off the base. Forcing or prying on the thermostat will cause damage to the unit. If necessary, move the electric heat switch. To replace the cover, line up the cover with the base and press until the cover snaps onto the base.
