  • May be used with natural, manufactured or mixed gases and with LP gases where means are provided for obtaining automatic pilot gas shut-off
  • Switch may be conveniently mounted in any position
  • Cover is easily removed, making switch terminals readily accessible
  • No button to depress - Sensors are recycling type which require relighting or possible restoration of proper gas pressure to return to operation
  • Prevent Gas Flow to Main Burner if Pilot Flame is Not Burning or Is Insufficient to Properly Ignite Main Burner

Q: What type of contactor does this unit have? (exp. dry contactor SPDT) Is the cable going to the sensor a hi temperature wire? It can run below the burner in the furnace?

Yes, 3046-5 is the direct cross of 3046-1. You can use this as a replacement.

Q: I need to replace this switch. But also like to replace old diaphragm gas valve with solenoid gas control. Can you recommend appropriate parts/combination for 250000btu heating boiler

You do not need to replace the whole unit, but if you would like to, we recommend a V800 series with a reg. thermocouple.
