- Sensor combines a rugged Snap-Action SPDT switch and powerful mercury actuated thermal element
- May be used with natural, manufactured or mixed gases and with LP gases where means are provided for obtaining automatic pilot gas shut-off
- No button to depress - Sensors are recycling type which require relighting or possible restoration of proper gas pressure to return to operation
- The SPDT switch can energize ignitor circuit to relight pilot (as with roof top units)

Hope I never have to buy this again 😎 but Supply House rox
With no heat , I took a shot it was the thermocouple and with a boiler this old , it was only available online . Supply House promised 48 hour delivery even with a Sunday order . A simple swap out and we are nice and toasty . Best price and service as promised - THANK YOU !!!!

Yup!, I would buy it again, and again
I'm an old bookkeeper/tax guy. The furnace this sensor replaced was a Pilotstat that is older than I am, that makes it durn old; Normandy was yesterday, right? I had three generally qualified HVAC guys tell me to junk the furnace and buy their $15k+ system all because they said there's NO FIXING the problem.... Guess what, my last gasp attempt netted a young man who was as stubborn as myself. He found your Sensor installed it and now we can actually program(!!) our thermostat and......... it works. So your ability to supply timely and my new best mechanic make my baker's bun rise. What else do you want to know? Call me.

These Flame Sensors, replace unavailable ones
They fit a carrier roof top unit with 8 zones in service 1984
original flame sensors are no longer available
