Description
–
Designed for installation on potable water lines to reduce high inlet pressure to a lower outlet pressure. The integral strainer makes this device most suitable for residential and commercial water systems that require frequent cleaning of sediment and debris. The direct acting integral by-pass design
prevents buildup of excessive system pressure caused by thermal expansion. The balance piston design enables the regulator to react in a smooth and responsive manner to changes in system flow demand, while at the same time, providing protection from inlet pressure changes.

Zurn quality
We were replacing a 2016 identical model Zurn PRV. We are not sure whether 9 yrs was a normal life of a PRV (we think so) or whether we somehow damaged the diaphragm adjusting it this summer. Old one was seeping around the adjustment bolt and Zurn said that meant it was defective. New one went in super easy. The old union was easy to break loose once we bought a larger adjustable wrench and the PEX brass fitting spun within the PEX allowing easy removal. A new rubber union seal and Teflon tape, and the new one works great.

Q: What is the maximum inlet pressure allowed, and what is the pressure reduction on certain inlet pressure, as well as, the volume reduction in gallons per minute?
