I orderd a thermostat from PexSupply and within 3 days I received it. They let me know they had my order and when it was shipped. I own my own small business and its good to see they took care of me like I take care of my customers. They were very reliable and helpful. Now I can enjoy playing pool in my basement this winter with plenty of heat. Thank you very much!!!

Needed for kick heater connected to a modulating temp boiler. There were times when the factory job wouldn't start the blower because the boiler temp was low ( when it's relatively warm outside). Installed the new aqua stat but it didn't start the blower , even in cold weather. Tested the aqua stat in hot water with a thermometer and ohm meter. Ran the water temp past 180 and it never closed the circuit. So I'm returning it for a replacement.
Looks like a flimsy device compared to the original.

Tried bending clamp closed for better contact -- no luck. Replaced thermal switch with internal relay operating from thermostat.

I purchased this aquastat to install in a toe kick heater in my kitchen. I had to return it 3 times. It is designed so that when it is installed on the curved copper pipe the face of the thermostat is deformed and it no longer functions properly. I had to fabricate a spacer and change the way the thermostat is mounted on its bracket to make it work properly. Unbelievably poor design!!

I use two K120's piped from a hot water jacket I made on my wood stove. I have temperature gauges on my supply and return and these aquastats seem reasonably accurate.

We used to trigger kick space heaters to start up at a lower temp. Standard Aquastat would not cause units to start running with a lower temp hot water system.
