Comments about 3/4" Sharkbite x Male Adapter (Lead Free):

I used this item to install a water filter in the middle of a 3/4" Pex waterline. I wanted a way to be able to remove the filter body without installing unions on eather side. This fit the bill perfectly. The male threaded end fits into each side of the water filter and the sharkbite end connects to the Pex. A stiff pull using the disconnect clip on the Pex side and the fitting will slide right off if needed. Genius!

First off let me start by saying great site, good prices and fast shipping. I order this and a 3/4" threaded female pvc 90 elbow and solved my transition problem from 3/4" pvc supply line to 3/4" pex tubing when I decided to relocate water heater from one end of mobile home to the other. Worked flawlessly and eliminated multiple transitions / connections.

Make sure there's no scratches on exterior of tubing. Because that's important for a proper seal.

If you need to connect 1" copper pipe to the male threaded end of a U140 fitting, we would recommend that you use a WP3-16 fitting.

I wanted to use Sharkbites to make some repairs on the copper and fittings on the boiler. Are these fittings rated for such? I see they're rated for 200psi and 200* temps. Thanks, John
