R8184M1051 is the suggested replacement for discontinued Oil Burner Control R8184M1002.
Provides automatic, nonrecycling control of an intermittent ignition oil burner system.
Specifications
- Controls oil burner, oil valve (if desired) and the ignition transformer in response to a call for heat.
- Solid state flame sensing circuit.
- LED on terminal strip indicates system lockout.
- Remote lockout indication available on some models.
- Enclosed safety switch with external reset button.
- Manual trip lever opens safety switch for system maintenance.
- Mounts on standard 4 x 4 in. junction box; select models may be mounted directly on burner housing.
- C554A Cadmium Sulfide Flame Detector and 24 Vac thermostat required.

My bad, but SupplyHouse is Great!
Our family uses a dinosaur oil heater that works fantastic when its working. There are better ways to control a burner than this, but if this is what you have, than this works fine!

Works as advertised
Swapped out, old unit was not putting out 24v ac. Removed old and wired new exactly the same way and now I have heat and AC working! Not worth paying hvac tech 1K to swap out.

In answer to your question "do it control heat and air condition" - in short NO. This relay is to safely go through a start sequence to fire the furnace and shut it down if the flame goes out for any reason. Your thermostat should have a selector switch where you can select heat -off- cool, select cool to turn the air conditioner on then set the desired temperature with the thermostat. You may have to also turn on a master power switch. For best advice call your local heating/air conditioner maintenance man. Garry

Yes, this type of Oil-Burner / Air Conditioning Control includes the circutry to run Heat and A/C both. It prevents each system from running at the same time. You will also need a separate Relay to turn your Main, House Air Blower on when the Thermostat calls for A/C. The Blower Temperature Control on the Furnace Flu controls the Main Blower relative to the Heat. The Thermostat when set to A/C controls the Main Blower separate of the Heat.
