Think about what you want
This cutter is not what you want for the price spend a bit more and get a Lennox or similar. The cutter will cut square but if you are cutting 3/4 or 1 inch it is a pain in the ###. If it is for a small project and you want cheap buy this.

works well
I bought this to cut pex and found it works very well to cut 1/2 and 3/4" PVC too.
Give the pipe and/or tool a little turn as you cut and it goes through plastic pipe like a hot knife through butter.
