Note: Underground burial of SharkBite brass fittings requires that the fitting be wrapped using silicone wrap (25406A).
1/2" SB x 1/2" SB x 1/2" FNPT Female Center Slip Tee
Slip fittings simplify repair by doing the job that two couplings and extra pipe used to do. Only one end of the coupling has a stop, allowing the other end to slide freely over the end of a pipe. The fitting can be released with a disconnect tool and slid back onto the other end of the pipe for successful leak repair.
Note: Slip End Only Suitable for Copper and CPVC

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe slip end of SharkBite slip tees should only be used with copper, but any standard SharkBite fitting port is compatible with copper, PEX, or CPVC.
