The rugged 00R 3-Speed Radiant Pump now has a new and improved impeller design, reducing noise and improving power consumption. Watts and amp ratings have been reduced by up to 10% and noise has been improved to 007 levels. This pump is specifically designed for the flow and head requirements of today's radiant heat systems. Its 3-Speed switching capability provides fine tuning control to match a wide combination of tube diameters and length of runs. The 00R 3-Speed Radiant pump is a direct replacement for the Grundfos UPS 15-58 3-Speed. The 00R delivers the highest starting torque in its class and a removable, high-flow Integral Flow Check (IFC+) that prevents gravity flow, reduces installation costs and improves pump performance.

So far so good
I installed the Taco pump on a heating system I put in. The pump has operated flawlessly and since my system is somewhat of experimentation I need to vary the flow. The 3 speeds did that for me. I was able to fine tune the system. Plus the unit is as quiet as a single speed.
As for PexSupply I could not happier with the price and quick service. I have added them to my favorites on my computer for future projects.

Could be better. Not near as powerful and heavy duty as the brand I replaced. Taco pump can't handle the heat as well either before it starts to rattle. This pump is probably great for smaller or less load projects other than outdoor wood furnace applications with 100' + of water line to circulate.

I never got the right pumps sent to me.
I never got the right pumps sent to me. I requested rotated flange pumps and received standard flange. I returned the pumps only to get the exact same pumps sent to me again that I had to return. Set me back 2 weeks and still never got the right pumps sent to me. I went elsewhere and got them.

the rotated flanges helped on this project
I used 2 of these pumps on a Buderus GB142 heat exchanger replacement and manifold rebuild.
The 3 speed option, sure helps too.

Could be better. Not near as powerful and heavy duty as the brand I replaced. Taco pump can't handle the heat as well either before it starts to rattle. This pump is probably great for smaller or less load projects other than outdoor wood furnace applications with 100' + of water line to circulate.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis impeller is made out of plastic. Speeds must be switched manually using a knob on the side of the circulator.
