TruFlow replacement manifold valve
I had been having issues with one of my radiant floor heat zones not heating. My plumber had recommended lubricating the valve. This worked temporarily, but not long term. I had also noticed that the "o" rings had some what deteriorated. I decided to replace the valve, which solved my issue. I have decided to rebuild the system & replace other valves.

MY low score review is due to how the product was shipped. I ordered four valves, and they were placed in a plastic bag which was placed in a padded shipping bag. During shipping, they tossed about in the inner and outer bag and all four arrived damaged - dinged threads beyond usable. I placed a second replacement order, explained the shipping process to customer service asking that they be wrapped individually in some kind of protective wrap, but all they did was tighten the knot around the inner plastic bag, and put that inside a box with a few blow-up bags for padding. These too arrived dinged, but salvageable. Best practice would be to pad wrap threaded product individually, especially if they rely on the thread for leak-proof seating!

Hydronic thermo control valves
Had a few thermo control valves that were getting sticky in my Wirsbo distribution manifolds. I'm not an HVAC guy, but after troubleshooting and researching my system I found these here. Direct replacement valve that's compatible with Uponor TruFlow Thermo Actuators.

Perfect fit, fixed my sticky valve problem
Worked perfect in my manifold. The original valves were sticking bad so needed replaced. Be sure to remove the ring that is screwed on around the valve first, makes it easy to get a wrench on it them. They are an o-ring, so don't tighten them too tight, just snug is fine. No leaks at all.

Q: I have an old (12yrs) wisbro brass manifold (wir530) for a radiant system. I've replaced valve actuators last yr. Now a couple of zones don't seem to be getting heat...?likely sticky valves. Will these fit and correct my problem
