Q: I currently have this air cleaner (455602-025) on my furnace and it had originally come with a merv 8 replacement filter. Am I able to use merv 11 or 13 filters also or should I stick with merv 8?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYou may be able to use a higher MERV filter, however it will increase resistance to air flow which could have a negative effect on the heating equipment. If you have been satisfied with the performance of the MERV 8 units, the safest choice would be to replace it with the same model filter.
