My water heater stop heating. I had several professionals come out. All but one told me I needed a new water heater. The one told me I only needed a thermocouple. I called all over the city and no one had the part. The one company that did have the part, I purchased it and it didn't fit. I couldn't return it, even though I never installed it. I call Supply House, the gentleman on the line asked for my model and serial number and told me he had the part. Skeptical, since I was told it was not returnable if it is installed, I confirmed that it was in fact the right part. He assured me it was. The part arrived a day earlier than I was told, I had the part put on about 2 weeks ago and I have hot water again without having to but a water heater. Btw, my water heater was manufactured in 2005. It is a State Select. They were bought out by AO Smith. Lesson learned for me. I gave 4 stars only because the part I needed could only be purchased as a kit. I didn't need the kit.
