We have hot water now!
Our hot water boiler kept on turning off. We vacuumed and cleaned the assembly and still had problems. We replaced the pilot assembly (again) even though we had replaced it 18 months ago and it only worked for one day, then the pilot light would turn off after a few minutes. We decided to purchase the full burner assembly this time. We had it shipped expedited next day delivery. My husband replaced it and we had hot water again with no problems. This is easy diy job that even I can do. This saved us lots of money. I will recommend this website and their products to other family members.

Almost right
This is the new replacement for my heater. The burner tube was short by 1 inch so I moved all the new parts to my old burner tube and the rest is perfect

I would buy this product again
Fits perfectly my other 2005 AO Smith water heater just like the first one I bought in January 2025. Bent the pilot light assembly away and below the burner so the flame won't hit and warm up excessively the pilot light assembly like it does on the first water heater. Works perfectly.

I recomend this product... with a caveat
This product did fit my 2005 AO Smith GCV 40 100 gas water heater. The only problem I am aware of is that the thermocouple instead getting a dull red when the burner is working, it will turn bright red - I suspect it will not last that much due to that fact ( original one lasted 20 years )

Purchased this because my burner went out on my hot water heater. Everywhere I went was out so I came to this web site and found just what I was looking for. Totally fixed my problem!
When my hot water went out, I figured out that both my main burner was turning off prematurely, and when that happened, my pilot light was also extinguishing. After doing some research on Google, I found this product, which looked like an easy way to replace everything involved with the main burner, pilot might, thermopile, etc. I have some basic experience doing DIY repairs from time-to-time as a homeowner, but nothing extensive, and I found installing this produce very easy. Three weeks later, and everything is still working well. I also appreciated the free overnight shipping very much! Easily recommended.

Unfortunately, I had to install the new burner assembly to discover the thermal-cutoff had been triggered on my AO Smith GPVL-40 water heater and could not be reset. That said, the fit was perfect, and the unit's quality was as good as or superior to OEM.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffPart 9003382005 is the recommended burner assembly for that unit. The pilot and thermocouple are included (they also come with the pilot assembly, part 9003382005).

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffFrom what I understand, if you purchase a part it has a 1 year part warranty no labor. If the part was covered because the water heater had parts warranty the warranty on the part still expires when the water heaters warranty expires even if less than a year.
