4 QuestionsQ: Got my pilot tube kit. One of the fittings is good (the end that screws into the thermostat), but the end that attaches to the actual pilot flame is not complete and loose on the pipe. How do I attach that fitting to that end?

You should be able to reuse that fitting from your old pilot tube.
Does your oilot tube look like the one shown on thPex web page...... if not its not a complete assembly. Mine screwed into th burner assembly DLT

Q: Hos do you get this through the rubber seal?

Im not sure what you're referring to, but I presume you're talking about the seal between the inside of the tank where the burner is and outside of the tank where the gas valve is. My chief engineer installed the piece, so I'm not exactly sure, but I was under the impression that the ferrings at the ends come off, so you can insert the copper tubing through the hole in the rubber seal, and then reinsert the connectors at the ends. The compression ferruli nut should take care of securing them to the copper tubing.

No, this is the tube for the pilot light.
This is the line that feeds the pilot (or igniter) on my gas log fireplace. Hope this helps you. Brian
No, this is a very narrow tube that just feeds the pilot light.
It would only IGNITE the main burner, just like on a water heater or furnace, the difference is only in the diameter of the tube, 1/8", VERY hard to find, PexSupply solved the problem.
This tube feeds the pilot. 1/8" flare by 1/4" flare connections, common to water heaters made by AO smith and also State. Found also to fit some Burnham boilers from our experience. Thanks, Scott Olson Geiser-Berner Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning ***.****
