Rental Compressor Replacement
I purchased this compressor as a cost-effective option for a tenant property, and it exceeded expectations. Rolled The Dice. Glad I Did.
Had a long-time client refer their friend to me after their installing contractor went out of business, not long before the compressor in her 5 year old Ruud heat pump died (a few months out of warranty). The original compressor was no longer available and the Ruud distributor had a lead time of 2 weeks+ for a generic replacement compressor. SupplyHouse had this Arrco compressor (I had never heard of them, in my 27 years of HVAC experience) that looked to be a match in size, piping locations and BTU's. And it was less than a week away. I rolled the dice after looking the company up. The compressor looked good upon initial inspection. Came with a wiring harness, a biflow filter drier and the appropriate dual run cap. Installation went smoothly and start up was effortless. The compressor buzzed to life and all of my readings were right where they should be. I gained a new customer (who was ecstatic that she had cooling again) and Arrco gained a new customer (Me). I will definitely look into Arrco the next time I need a compressor.
