The E-Flex Guard is an Insulation Protector for Refrigeration Piping on Outdoor applications that complies with mandatory requirements where adhesive tapes are no longer allowed by code, and as specifically prescribed by the new Building/Residential/Energy Codes. Engineered PVC Material is UV/Weather Resistant and a Class II Vapor Retarder to comply with new energy codes, and sustainably protects outdoor pipe insulation.

Great Lineset Cover
This lineset cover was easy to install. It appears to be very durable and should hold up well to UV light to protect the insulation around the lineset. I like the fact that it has hook and loop fasteners so it can be removed if service is required.
The only drawback is that it is pretty pricey.

Good solution, needs more and bigger zip ties included
This is a good idea and a good way to protect your exterior lines and add to the insulation value they provide.
