The Aprilaire 1413 Media Upgrade Kit allows the Aprilaire 2400 Media Air Cleaner to use Aprilaire Media 413 filters. The Aprilaire 413 filters are an improvement over the Aprilaire 401 filters originally manufactured for the Aprilaire 2400, offering MERV 13 filtration. The filters are sold in a two-pack and an eight-pack (which are also used for the Aprilaire 4400 Media Air Cleaner). This upgrade kit will not work with units manufactured before 1985.

Retro fit kit for general filter
This item has always been the best thing for the home owner. To get rid of the old style filter with all the plastic dividers and break. Easy to install and a better filter than what they had.

Fits great
Get rid of your old suitcase filter and messy combs and buy one if these. It fits perfectly. I had a little difficulty inserting the actual filter mesh as it has to be perfectly level, but once it goes in it's good for a year.

Great Upgrade, would do it again.
We replaced out Aprilaire filter each year and a few years back starting using Honeywell replacement filters. When we saw this improvement that Aprilaire had out we jumped at the chance to switch to it.
We are very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.
