Merv 16 Replacement Media for 2416

I use this MERV 16 filter as my fresh air supply filter for my home before it goes into my ERV. I live near a large airport and near an Interstate, so outdoor air quality in the area is not great. This outdoor air goes through an Aprilaire 2416 with this 216 filter at a low velocity with an ERV that works 24x7. I get about a year's worth of usage before it needs replacement and this filter comes out downright nasty with the soot, dirt and bugs that it has captured. My ERV MERV 8 incoming air filter remains spotless since the aprilaire is the one doing the hard work. This filter costs a decent amount of money, so if it was used for HVAC, it would only work about 6 months in my area of North Texas due to the amount of cooling we need. My regular HVAC system uses the 213 filters and I can usually get about 2500 hours of runtime before needing to change the filter.
