The Aprilaire 62 humidistat includes a built in blower activation switch. It also has a digital display on the front cover to show you how humid it is in your home. Comes with outdoor air sensor. Can be retrofit installed on any humidifier with a 24 volt AC control system to make it AutoTrac style. Includes installation instructions. This system is so advanced it automatically lowers and raises the humidity setpoint as the outdoor air temperature changes. Humidistat must be mounted to the return air duct ahead of the humidifier.
Same as the model 60 except it does NOT have a Change Water Panel indicator light. It is designed for steam style humidifiers but will work on any humidifier.

I would buy this product again
Replaced my old model 60 with the model 62 after being told it would work with my Aprilare 700. After 30 days it has worked perfectly. I highly recommend SupplyHouse their prices are great.

Won't be able to use this.
Wanted to do a direct replace of the one I have at home. Didn't get the exact model in the online picture. Got a slightly different model. One less wire and connection on the board.

this is a great automatic control.unfortunatly I had to return this item. I bought a whole house humidifier a Honeywell. This is also a great product. Upon installation I was told by my plumber that I should use the one that came with the honey well. This is why I returned it,.
