Nice inexpensive replacement part
I noticed my Aprilaire humidifier control started lighting up a red LED on the main board. I found the instructions online that said I should check the ohms between the sensor leads. My ohm meter showed it to be open between the leads indicating a problem with the sensor or wiring. Another quick search found supplyhouse.com had the part in stock at an inexpensive price. Just what I needed to fix my Aprilaire in-line humidifier for this heating season.

It's installed. There is no outdoor temperature display on my thermostat.

Saved me $85.00 LITERALLY.
Until I discovered the the resistance of the old sensor was 27 ohms and should have been between 44,000 ohms and 48,000 ohms, I almost ordered a new humidistat. I received this in quick time, easily installed it and everything is back to normal. They even included a new water line filter and brass nut. Thank You very much.

Sorry to hear that this sensor doesn't seem to be working. We suggest you troubleshoot with Aprilaire and then call us at 888-757-4774 to file a warranty claim.

Fast delivery, great price
Very happy with the experience. BTW, you can use this product as a replacement for the Carrier's equivalent sensor (which I saw being sold for 10x the dollar amount). I tested the resistance at various temperatures and the two are one and the same. The data sheets provided by both manufacturers also confirm what I measured.

Exact product at a great price!
Product was delivered quickly and on-time. Very easy to install on my Aprilaire 768 home humidifier. This was a replacement for a previous outdoor sensor that was destroyed during siding installation several years back. I should have purchased and installed this years ago. It works great and makes the whole house system completely automatic again.
