Armstrong Air R06428D455 Inducer Replacement Kit is an official OEM inducer kit for Armstrong Air HVAC equipment, used to provide combustion air and proper draft during the heat cycle.
Compatibility & Applications:
- For Armstrong Air models that specify R06428D455 in official parts documentation
- Supports combustion air movement and pressure switch operation required for ignition
Installation & Operation Notes:
- Disconnect power and gas before service
- Install per unit service instructions, connect wiring and pressure switch tubing, then verify inducer start-up and normal ignition sequence
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Replace if seized, noisy, or unable to close the pressure switch
- Inspect venting and inducer wheel for debris when diagnosing draft faults
