Yes, the motor is part of the pump.
The main difference of the two models is one is made of bronze (S-25 AB) and the other is made of cast iron (S-25 BF). Both pumps have the same specs as for flow rate, horse power, & head range but they are to be used in different type of systems. You would want to use a bronze pump in an open system (such as a domestic hot water system) and you can use a cast iron pump in a closed system (hydronic heating). In an opened system a cast iron pump would rust out quickly and you would have to replace it often.
