Too much light
This smoke alarm has two LED lights in it and puts out too much light. I could read a book at night with the amount of light it puts out. I would not buy it again.

Too much light
The Sm105-AC is used in 4 places in my house. The one in my bedroom puts out so much light at night, compared to the last one model that was there, that you could almost read a book under it. The light comes out the sides hitting the adjacent walls and down to the floor. Every smoke detector I have used since they were invented did not light up my bed room like this type. Most places in my house it doesn't matter, but in the bedroom it is very annoying. I would not buy it again.
