The HD6135FB is a hardwired heat alarm with replaceable 9V battery backup, operating on 120V AC and designed for locations where smoke alarms are not recommended, such as garages, kitchens, laundry rooms, and crawl spaces. It uses advanced thermistor rate-of-rise technology to detect rapid temperature increases alongside a fixed 135F threshold. When interconnected, activation of any one alarm will trigger all connected alarms throughout the home.
- 120V AC hardwired with replaceable 9V alkaline battery backup
- 135F fixed temperature threshold plus rate-of-rise detection technology
- Thermistor and microprocessor-based sensor (UL 539 listed)
- Hardwire interconnectable with latching alarm indicator
- Silence low-battery chirp for up to 8 hours or temporarily suppress nuisance alarms
