Bell & Gossett has introduced the EASB-JR, a micro-bubble air separator that makes both residential and commercial hydronic heating systems more efficient, operate quieter, and last longer.
Featuring a brass body and stainless steel internal components, the EASB-JR Air Separator is designed to automatically remove entrained air bubbles in hydronic systems. As fluid enters the air separator, the velocity is decreased creating a low-pressure area. The small bubbles are released from fluid and then collect on the coalescing medium. As the bubbles coalesce, they rise to the top of the air separator where they are released to atmosphere through the built-in automatic air vent.
The compact design and the no-minimum pipe requirements allow EASB-JR to be installed wherever air is a problem. Several sizes offered: 3/4 , 1 , 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 NPT and 3/4 , 1 and 1 1/4 sweat. The EASB-JR features a non-clog vent design that eliminates callbacks due to the fouling of the valve and a 1/2 NPT connection that allows easy connection to a diaphragm tank. The EASB-JR comes with a three-year warranty.

Hello I purchase mine from supply house years ago.it stopped working and the problem is no rebuild kit. I've moved on and will replace with another brand. And I don't shop this brand anymore

I purchased this to replace a Danfoss unit which had worn out. I was pleased to find out the cap and internal workings were an exact match to the Danfoss. I was able to keep the Danfoss body in place. A+

Works Great. Less Filling
I replaced an old-fashioned Amtrol air purger (the one with the air vent fitting on top). When the system was first installed, 25+ years ago, the original installer put the Amtrol unit too close to the vertical riser off the boiler, meaning that the Amtrol unit did not work well. I replaced that with the B&G Air eliminator. It was well-made and the brass NPT threads were clean. My system runs much more quietly, as it is free of air. Next time, I won't wait 20 years.

Great item for air removal with 1" IPS
This was the second one of these purchased, I needed 2 due to the paralell piping installation of my wood boiler and electric boiler. It removed the air from the heat exchanger coupled wood side of the boiler with the expansion tank. The other is on the electric side. Hve 2 separate indpendent systems now.

the Honeywell Spirovent and B&G 1/8" npt auto air vent are compatable as far as the top cap, float etc. this jr model appears to be the same.
