Don't buy unless you absolutely need to use stainless steel.
I bought one of these since it was less expensive than a brass union. It leaked despite being tightened, as much as I could, with two 24" wrenches. I dissembled it and made absolutely sure the mating surfaces were clean and undamaged, re assembled it and it still leaked. I felt making a leakproof seal would require more torque than I could safely apply without potentially damaging other (Expensive) system components. I abandoned the approach and reconfigured the system to eliminate the need for a union.
Thankfully, SupplyHouse accepted the return and refunded my money.

Nice fittings
I was skeptical because of some negative reviews. I found NO issues with these fittings, machined surfaces and castings were near perfect as I could see. Put into service, no issues. These are a pretty good price for what I consider an upgrade of 1962 builder materials. I will buy more.
