Works fine
Bought this for a Whirlpool heater that did not originally have a hot port rod. Obviously it was designed for a Bradford-White so not surprised that it didn't fit without modification. The plastic housing at the top of the rod would not go through the hot side opening. I had to grind the diameter down quite a bit but it seems to work fine.
