Not long-lasting
I just got back from sweating in various new water valves and pipes from the freeze-n-split resulting from one of these failing when it was zero degrees outside. The capacitor is burned. I'd estimate that it lasted about a year. They might be OK for certain use cases, wherein somebody with a 3-digit IQ was going to be onsite every day to notice when it fails before damage occurs, but that's a lot of dependencies. Better to use something more reliable.
